The Judgement of Paris, Prince of Troy, and the Demolition of Troy

The Painting can be seen at the Louvre, Paris. It measures 151 x 103 cm and dates back to 1540.

The Jigsaw was made in the Netherlands by MB in 1981 and measures 146 x 98,5 cm.

It presents the worldfamous story of the Judgement of Prince Paris of Troy. He had to decide which goddess is the most beautiful and chose Aphrodite. She offered him eternal love by Helena, the most beautiful lady - although she was married to Menelaos, King of Sparta. Paris took Helena and the war began. After ten years, the greek warriors deicded to use a 'backdoor tactics' and left the trojan horse outside the walls of Troy. The inhabitants thought that the grecians fled and decided themselves to take the horse into town; they were happy about the end of the war In the night, when all inhabitants fell asleep, Odysseus and his special 'task force' came out of the horse and destroyed the city.
