Bad Kreuznach is a town in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a spa town most well known for its medieval bridge dating from around 1300, the Alte Nahebrücke, which is one of the few remaining bridges in the world with buildings on it^.

I started this jigsaw puzzle in February 2019 - but somehow I lost my patience 

assorting and trying those final 100 pcs. 

 

4 - 8 - 12 - 16 - 20 hours of assembly

Last weekend I started assembling a vintage MB Aquarell (Watercolour) jigsaw puzzle

.. and my lovely husband started assembling a vintage Victory GOLD BOX Plywood jigsaw puzzle

COMPLETED :-)

Daylight is extremely helpful and the weekend will provide several hours. 

Can't wait to see both jigsaw puzzles completed!

This is a watercolour of the spanish steps in Rome, the worldfamous stairs.

The church on top is the "Trinita dei Monti" (Santissima Trinità al Monte Pincio)

In front of the church is the 14m Obelisco Sallustiano.

Since 26th Nov. I'm busy with this stunning water colour view of "Rome, Italy" (1986)

I started assorting the pieces and then decided to beginn with colours except of the frame.

some details showing the market place in the old town:

 the fountain with a statue of St. Mary dates back to the 17th century

 the townhall was built 1551 & the framework was created in the early 18th century (baroque era)

The tavern "golden angel" has been a guildhouse before (tailor)

A watercolour painting of the City Bad Neuenahr in Rhineland-Palatinate in the Southeast of Germany. In the middle of the 19th century, a winemaker detected a spring with naturally mineralized water and invented a spa to 'take the cure'.

 This is a vintage cardboard jigsaw puzzle which wasn't easy to solve.

City of Flensburg

   Watercolour painting - the jigsaw puzzles dates back to 1985

This wonderful watercolour painting shows the port of Flensburg. The city is the northernmost independent city of Germany and was founded in the early 13th century. On the painting you can see the church spire of 13th c. built St. Marys; 

and just before the church and the tall tree is the Kompagnietor (1602)
and the "Alexandra", a steam ship.
