Under construction: Hannah Dale "Birds", 1000 pcs. - Completedn.

A sturdy cardboard box, standing upright. Inside a paper bag with a pretty adhesive label.
Amazing, very subtle and beautiful illustrations by Hannah Dale

Hannah Dale began Wrendale Designs in 2012 on a crowded kitchen table in Melton Ross. Inspired by the glorious Lincolnshire countryside, Hannah started to paint hares; loving their expressive faces and wonderful personalities.
Since then the company has won many prestigious awards in recognition of their successes. In 2021 Hannah was awarded a NatWest Everywoman Award. Wrendale have also received five Henries awards (the Oscars of the greeting card industry!) for their wonderful greeting cards.

I got to know these magical puzzles (or one of them) at a forum meeting in 2024.

The only downer: the price is quite high (approx. 30 €), the puzzle smelled strangely strong when I poured it out of the bag for the first time - and it's “made in China”...

But let us not talk about downers: I already started assembling it after a few days of

Usually I collect the outstanding colours first. The kingfisher bird with its majestic feathers had my full attention:

 I love these illustrations

Here we are: Friday, weekend and a bit of time before breakfast

... and time to work on the frame

Seems like sorting pieces will bring a quick finish!

Will do it again now to fill the gaps
