A Satuzzle-jigsaw Puzzle made in Germany


Whitehaven beach is a 7 km long pure white beach along Whitsunday Island at the eastcoast of Australia. It belongs to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. The white sand consists of 98% pure silica. The Area is famous for its fauna: Humpback Whales, Stingrays or the Box Jellyfish.

The beach was discovered in late 19th century.

Yesterday a friend visited me and we started together assembling this picture. It was a challenge, especially the blue sea and the green parts of vegetation.

The Picture shows the Yas Marina Circuit and the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi as well as the Golf Course and the Yas Hotel. The Picture was taken from the project "Human Footprints" and turned into a jigsaw puzzle by "satuzzle", an ambitious german manufacturer of jigsaw puzzles, located in Düsseldorf.

The word "satuzzle" is a combination of satellite imagery and jigsaw puzzle
