Ahrensburg Castle
Era: renaissance

Ahrensburg Castle is located in the town of Ahrensburg, named after the castle district, in southern Schleswig-Holstein, about 30 kilometres northeast of Hamburg city centre. The small moated castle is actually a manor house and, as such, was once the centre of a noble estate.

I visited the castle in 2012 and transferred a photography into a jigsaw puzzle. Now I have awakened it from its slumber

Our dog had fun rubbing herself on the lawn in front of the castle.
