The last supper - School of the 17th century, 1655
Attributed to Jacob Jordaens, a painter who lived and worked in Antwerp. The Painting was given to St. Mary's Church, Purton (GB) by Dowager Countess of Shaftesbury in late 18th c., was stolen in 1994, given back to the owner in 2001 and had to be restored due to a very bad condition. Since 2004 it is shown at its historic place again.
