"Small Dream in Red" by Vassily Kandinsky (1925)
Kunsthalle Bern

The Russian Painter is said to be the creator of the first abstract painting in the world. Kandinsky was born in Moscow 1866 and lived and worked in europe until his death 1944. He was a synesthesiast which means that he did not only saw the colours, but 'heard' them. For example there was a loud red, a silent yellow etc.

The jigsaw puzzle is made of wood by ArtPuzzle, Switzerland and is cut like a 'normal-shaped' cardboard jigsaw puzzle.
