A Castorland Jigsaw Puzzle

Moszna Castle was built in the 17th century using architectural details of baroque, neogothic and neorenaissance era. In the very late 19th century the castle was destroyed by a fire and was re-built using the exact style. has 365 rooms so you might spend a whole year without visiting a single room twice :-)

The castle was property of the Family Tiele-Winckler since 1866. 1945 the last heir left Moszna. During WWII, the castle wasn't destroyed, but afterwards, the Red Army occupied it and most of the interior designs were demolished.
Since 1972 the castle was used as a sanatorium, afterwards for medical therapies. The chapel is now used for concerts and the nearby stud is a centre for horse breeding of excellent polish horses. Actually the stud houses 200 horses which take part in dressage competitions and the olympic games.

The Centerpiece: baroque style

The right wing: neorenaissance style
