"Stadt Königsbrunn"

During the 2nd German 'jigsaw puzzle day' 2006, sponsored by Ravensburger, two cities tried to reach first place as German jigsaw puzzle stronghold: Buxtehude in the North of Germany and Königsbrunn in Bavaria. 1.5 Million Jigsaw Pieces were given to both cities as well as 5 hours. 

Since 2004, Königsbrunn hold a world record with 2,1 km of assembled jigsaw puzzles. In 2006 the citizens of Königsbrunn scored with 2,5 km = 1 Million pieces.
