Kölner Arche (Ark of Cologne) by Hans-Ruprecht Leiß (1954-)
Based upon a crayon painting created 2005 during the conclave to elect Pope Benedict XVI.
Thousands of Posters and Postcards were sold in Cologne to support a beneficary project.
A few years later, in 2008, the editor Benno Kammann, decided to sell a jigsaw puzzle, as well.
The manufacturer is Ravensburger.

The artist was born at Husum. He's on a lifetime journey with ink, crayon and paper. The Cathedral of Cologne is a stopover on this journey. It shows both, the cathedral as ark as well as nave.

The details tell stories filled with fantasy. Discover a few of them
