I pray for Paris and France

I visited Paris, this amazing town full of life, so many times in my life.

While staying in school during the 1980ies, I felt the need to learn the french language. 

 

I travelled to Paris by car, train and plane.

I explored the churches, museums, places and people.

I spent time at the Seine, looking at the bateaux mouches and the illuminated Nôtre-dame.

I went on top of the Tour Eiffel once and enjoyed the view over Paris

My husband and me spent our honeymoon in Paris. 

I love Paris - even during a shower.

But yesterday, this wonderful town was hurt again - the second time during this year. 

The cut was deep, too deep this time. 

So many people died and nothing can ever bring them back.

My thoughts and prayers are with their families.
