Development process of "Buckingham Palace" (2000 pcs.) - started 12th January and interrupted 21st January 2018

Together with several friends from the forum I started synchronously assembling vintage jigsaw puzzles which are (I dare say) more than 30 years old and are made of 2000 or 3000 pcs.

Mine is - obviously - Buckingham Palace 

with red and yellow tulips photographed beside the huge fountain 

 

Last friday I started assorting

and assembling 

I was pretty sure that the palace would be the easiest part, 

because there are only standardised pieces with 2 holes and 2 noses.
