Development process of a vintage F.X.Schmid jigsaw puzzle ** completed

It's been ages (at least 7 years) that I assembled Linderhof Palace in Bavaria. I found a 1986-jigsaw puzzle in my to-do-pile that rested there for many years, and awakened it a few days ago. I had no idea if this will be a challenge or not.

Part of the penjing collection at the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum (Washington D.C.), this trident maple, Acer buergerianum, has its roots growing over a rock and its foliage and stems trimmed in the shape of a dragon. (Source)
