A thrilling observation in our garden ...

 Today I made a surprising  and thrilling observation! 

It really made me happy, because I never saw an European green Woodpecker before. NEVER! Ok, he was just there, on our lawn and I sent several prayers that he might be there until I changed the lens of my SLR! And he gave his best to fulfill my secret whishes for more than 5 minutes.
