500 Pieces

"Transhuman

by Thomas Kuhlenbeck, a german Illustrator who works for several magazines.

This is an astonishing and bizzarre picture. I don't know if the artist illustrated the overcoming of techniques or if he believes himself in transhumanism. I prefer "Tech for good", a supportive kind of technique that allows humans to live safer and - somehow - better. I don't believe that techniques have to overcome mankind in any way. This picture just thrilled me and I had some hours thinking about it while assembling the jigsaw puzzle.

If you want to know more about the philosophical movement of the so-called transhumanism, please feel free to browse wiki.

Development process of "Mountain Canoes" (2000 pcs.) - completed

A few weeks ago I started assembling this amazing landscape - thanks to a survey at the german jigsaw puzzle board again :-)

©Michael Wheatley, 2014

no info on the box, but thanks to a quick research I found
the location: Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Kanada

...it is always satisfying to open a box for the first time!

First step: choosing all those parts to assemble the Canoes

Next step: the sky

in the meantime: trying to assemble the mountains ... this is where I am now.
