Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, later Philip Mountbatten; 10 June 1921 – 9 April 2021), was the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. As such, he was the consort of the British monarch from her accession as queen on 6 February 1952 until his death in 2021, making him the longest-serving consort in history.

Queen Elizabeth II on her 90th birthday (2016)

A Wentworth wooden jigsaw puzzle including several wonderful whimsies

Today "Trooping the Colour" was held to celebrate her birthday which is on the 21st of April. It is also the kick-start to a 4-day-celebration of her 70th anniversary of sovereignity.

In fact, Queen Elizabeth has been represented by Prince Charles, Princess Royal Anne and Prince William. She left Windsor to welcome the Troops passing by the balcony of Buckingham Palace

Later on she re-entered the balcony again with some family members: Charles and Camilla, William and Kate with their three children, Anne with her family

Salutes were fired

They attended a flight show including a special formation

I can't even imagine how quick the past 10 years since the Diamond Jubilee rushed by.

May Her Majesty reign for many more years to come!
