1000 Pieces
A Pleasant Evening - by Neil Barry (Illustrator)
HOP, Scotland
This scene captures the atmosphere of a british village. The White Hart, a charming pub adorned with flowers. In front, two classic cars: a green Triumph and a red Jaguar. They add a touch of vintage elegance.
In 1393, during the reign of King Richard II, a law was passed requiring pubs and inns to have a sign to identify them as official pubs. Many adopted ‘The White Hart’ as their sign as it was the King's personal badge - today it is the fourth most popular pub name in the UK.
