A few weeks (May 2023) ago I visited a zoo in a small town, Solingen, near Düsseldorf.
According to its own information, the zoo is home to around 400 animals of 100 species. Originally opened as a home animal park, the animal park has developed over the years into a facility with a mixed population of domestic and exotic animals.
