We visited a game reserve in March 2024

You know that your blog mistress loves to visit zoological parcs, but we have many game reserves in Germany, some of them close to our home, for example the game reserve in Schalksmühle. You can see wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, goats, ferrets, pheasants, guinea pigs, rabbits, donkeys, ponies, red foxes, raccoons, Jacob sheep and a european bison called Wisent.

Some animals were asleep, others were in safe spaces to eat or rest (like the Wisent)

... who need food bags, when you have your personal bag on four patient hooves ...

 The animals were demanding because they know that the visitors have special food bags with them. You can buy them at the entrance :-)

 Looks like the tree has been split by lightning
